I sure did need a vacation from my vacation. Time to motivate again before school starts. Our 1st Annual Mother-Daughter Vacation Adventure has come and gone. We decided we liked it enough to do it again next year, yay! Crescent Beach/Siesta Key Florida was awesome. A few highlights: the biggest, best sunsets I've ever seen; the bright white sand that never got hot; the crazy amount of shells; the yummy clam chowder, grilled mahi mahi, bacon wrapped grilled scallops w/plum sauce, lobster, coconut shrimp...; crystal clear water; finding an octopus; lots of fun with my mom. Have you heard about this thing called the staycation where you stay at home for your vacation. I first heard it referred to on the t.v. show Corner Gas. It made me laugh right out loud.
It certainly looks like you and your family are making the MOST out of your vacation!
